 One of aromatherapy's most beloved base notes and fixatives, it anchors blends, extends the life of more volatile aromas, and adds a resinous warmth that is both grounding and deeply soothing. Steam distilled from wild-harvested crude balsam of Myroxylon balsamum var. pereirae.

How to Use

• Diffusion: Add to your diffuser for a long-lasting, warm, and balsamic aroma climate. Best used as a background note in a blend rather than on its own.
• Blending: Use as a fixative in custom aromatherapy blends, natural perfumes, soaps, and body care products.
• Dilution: Recommended dilution is 1% (6 drops per 1 oz. of base product) for general use, or 0.5% (3 drops per 1 oz.) for facial and sensitive areas.

Safety Note: No known toxicity with the essential oil of Balsam Peru. The crude balsam itself, however, can cause contact allergies. Patch test before use.
