Botanical name Tanacetum annuum, Steam distilled from the leaves and flowers.
Blue Tansy essential oil is a vivid deep blue color due to its azulene content.
It is also known as Moroccan Chamomile and is wild-grown in Morocco.
Blue Tansy essential oil is traditionally valued in aromatherapy for skin care applications and is often used in blends for irritated or sun-exposed skin. The sweet, herbaceous aroma of Blue Tansy oil promotes a sense of calm and relaxation, making it a popular choice for easing everyday tension and stress. In aromatherapy practice, it's frequently blended with Ravensara for respiratory support. For aromatic use, add to a diffuser or place a couple of drops on a handkerchief and inhale deeply.
How to use: If you are applying topically be sure to dilute with a carrier oil such as Jojoba or Fractionated Coconut oil.
