Botanical name Canarium luzonicum / Organic/ Resin/Phillipines
Elemi was one of the aromatics used in ancient Egypt. It has a light fresh scent, balsamic-spicy, lemon like. Blends well with Myrrh, Frankincense, Lavender, Rosemary. It is thought to be a very grounding and balancing oil and is a base note in perfumery.
It may promote peace and joy, centering and balancing upper and lower chakras. Wonderful used in meditation.
Sometimes used in massage or skin care to assist in soothing overworked muscles.
Often used in skin care and has been known to be rejuvenating for aged skin.
