This is a spa treatment from the Arizona desert.
Select a large, flat smooth stone, the size of your palm
Heat stone in a low temperature oven until warm but not hot.
Rub some scented massage oil into the stone and use this
heated rock to give your partner a soothing massage.
The heat from the stone relaxes and penetrates the muscles.
Use up to 15 drops of essential oil per 1 oz. of unscented oil.
Start with less drops, you can always add more.
Try Sweet Almond, Safflower or Apricot Oil.
Peace and Love Massage Oil
3 drops Patchouli
3 drops Sandalwood
1 oz. unscented base oil

Carrier Oils or Base Oils Unscented Oils
for making your own massage oils and aromatherapy blends.
Carrier oils are necessary to carry or transport the essential oils that
can not be applied directly to the skin. You may also use an unscented base
lotion instead of oil.
To create your own Massage or Body Oil add up to 15 drops of essential oils
to 1 ounce unscented oil .Start with less you can always add more.

oz. add up to 40 drops for 8 oz. of massage oil add up to 80 drops
of essential oils. Try Sweet Almond or Apricot Kernel oil.
We
recommend keeping your vegetable carrier oils refrigerated.
Sweet Almond Oil Cold Pressed
A nut oil of light to medium weight. Nourishing and pampering, a base oil suitable for all skin types, especially
dry, mature or sensitive skin. Sweet Almond Oil is lightweight and has excellent penetrating
properties. Contains vitamins ( A, B1,B2, B6, E ), minerals, fatty acids, and protein. Relieves itching, helpful for dryness,
inflamation,
burns, thread veins, a great massage oil base.

Jojoba 10% to other carrier oil mixes to prevent them from going rancid.

Calendula Oil
The infused oil of the Marigold plant (Calendula officinalis)
A soothing carrier oil used for dry skin. Try adding a small amount
to a massage blend.
Contains: Salicilyic Acid, carotenoids, phytosterols.
Uses: Reduces swelling, aids wound and burn healing, helpful for
acne, impetigo, eczema.
Antiseptic and regenerating.
Use infused oil as 15 or 25%, some authorities and herbalists use
full strength. Anti-inflamatory, antispasmodic, helps healing wounds.
useful for bed sores, broken veins, bruises, inflamed gums, varicose
veins. Effective on rashes, dry, chapped or cracked skin. Wonderful
in salves for diaper rash. Especially useful for dry eczema.

An herbal tincture
For bruises, sprains, may relieve rheumatic pain, chilblains, Caution Some sensitivity so please do a patch test forst. Use as a base.

Rose Hip Seed Oil
Rosa Mosqueta, Rosa Rubignosa, R rubirosa,
Contains: GLA, Linolenic acids, oleic acid, palmitic acid
Uses: dry, scaly fissured skin, dull skin, acne, eczema, psoriasis, over pigmented skin, scars, (Note, blend with Helichrysum Italicumfor fading old scars.prophylactic after burns or trauma; ulcerated veins and scars. Avoid with acne and oily or blemished skins. Use as 10% additive or neat for very dry, aging skins. Goes rancid very quickly. Refrigerate.

Evening Primrose Oil
Botanical Name- Oenothera biennis Cold Pressed, 10% GLA (gamma linolenic acid)Notes- This particular oil should be kept refrigerated. No additives, preservatives, antioxidants, or other foreign agents have been used or included in the manufacturing of this oil.
For External use only!: psoriasis, eczema; helps to prevent prematurely aged skin, aids wound healing and any sort of scars.

Hazelnut Oil
A gentle, lightweight oil that is very compatible with the skin and leaves no greasy residue. Good for ll skin types, especiallly dry, damaged skin. It stimulates circulation and has a slight astringent action. Contains vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and protein.

Fractionated Coconut Oil
The great thing about using this carrier oil is it does not stain sheets or clothing. Massage Therapists love this unscented base oil. It has a nice glide, absorbs well, is not sticky. Leaves your skin smooth as silk. Suitable for all skin types,
especially dry, mature or sensitive skin.
Never goes rancid. The oil has essentially an infinite shelf life.
Because its consists completely of saturated fatty acid side chains its more like animal fat and absorbs more readily into the skin making it ideal for massage therapy.
Washes out of your massage table sheets very easily with no staining.
