Lavender

Lavender essential oil is reassuring, soporific, and is often ther
first choice of aromatherapists for treating emotional or mental
stress. It also reduces muscular pain, whether from illness or
physical exertion, and soothes the skin.
I can’t think of a more perfect herb for a relaxing bath.

Ingredients for a lavender bath treatment:

4 cups epsom salts
2 cups Sea salt
1 cup non fat powdered milk
2 cups oatmeal ground to a very fine powder in a food processor or
coffee grinder-use the old fashioned kind
40 drops of lavender essential oil

Mix together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl, sieve if you
wish, then add the lavender 10 drops at a time, thoroughly mix it
through. Do this 4 times, so that the lavender essential oil is
distributed.

I then put the mix in glass jars and put a pretty sticker on the jar
with all the ingredients and the date when I made it.

Relaxation

This blend is for relaxation and stress relief. It will induce a deep relaxation of the tissues, muscles and joints, and re-establish a good energy balance.

Blend the following essential oils into one ounce of carrier oil of your choice; Massage as desired. May also be used as a bath oil.

3 drops Lavender 3 drops Tangerine 3 drops Marjoram 1 drop Chamomile

Grouch Prevention Spray

2d lavender
2d lemon
2d peppermint
6d rosemary
6d tea tree

Mix all oils together.

Use the blend in one of these ways:
~Mix into 16 ounces of water and spray the air around the potential
grouch as soon as he or she (or you) gets up.

~Mix the essential oils into 2 Tablespoons of any vegetable oil to use
as a body oil after showering

Hot Stone Massage

This is a spa treatment from the Arizona desert.
Select a large, flat smooth stone, the size of your palm
Heat stone in a low temperature oven until warm but not hot.
Rub some scented massage oil into the stone and use this
heated rock to  give your partner a soothing massage.
The heat from the stone relaxes and penetrates the muscles.
Use up to 15 drops of essential oils per 1 oz. of unscented oil.
Start with less drops, you can always add more.
Try Sweet Almond, Safflower or Apricot Oil.

Scented Hair

Create a blend with 1 teaspoon Jojoba Oil and
your favorite essential oils. Lavender, Geranium,
Rose or Sandalwood are some of my favorites but
you choose yours. You’ll only need 2-4 drops.
Taking a little on your fingers run this through your hair.
You may also apply only to the ends.
The scent will linger, it’s almost like wearing perfume.

Send a Scented Valentine

This is one of my favorites.
When you send a scented Valentine
the fragrance is your signature.
All you have to do is make sure you are
wearing the same fragrance when you see
your sweetheart .
The aroma memory ensures that the memory
of you lingers on

Relaxing Body Butter

2 tbsp shea butter
2 tbsp cocoa butter
2 tbsp olive oil
5-7 drops Lavender essential Oil

Melt shea, cocoa, and olive oil together, let them cool. Beat them well, so
the consistency goes from stiff to creamy, add the essential oils. You can
also add some vitamin E . Put into container
