Make your Holiday cards extra special this year. Place 1 drop of any holiday blend on the inside corner of each card. Seal and send as usual. What a nice surprise for the recipient! Some oils to use: we like our Celebration blend with Cinnamon, Orange Clove but a Evergreen blend is also nice.

A “natural tick repellent
Anti-Fungal Baby Wipes
1/2 c. distilled water
1 TBS vinegar
1/4 c. Aloe Vera gel
1 TBS. Calendula oil
1 drop Lavender essential oil
1 drop Tea Tree Essential Oil
From one of our readers “I made these wipes because I wanted something to gently discourage yeast diaper rashes. The vinegar and Essential Oils discourage yeast growth which
means you should not have too much trouble with these wipes getting moldy.”
To prepare, use a glass jar with a tight fitting lid. Pour all your
ingredients in, cover the jar and shake to blend the ingredients. Place your wipes in a container and pour on enough solution to moisten them. Store any extra solution in the fridge. It should stay fresh for a long time especially if you used distilled water.
If a baby had a really red, raw Diaper Rash you might not want to use these wipes as vinegar may cause a burning sensation.

Lavindin or Lavender essential oil, an anti-histamine for allergies
Lemon Eucalyptus vs. Citronella
Today’s Tip
I prefer lemon eucalyptus just because it has a slight lemon aroma under that citronella note instead of that weird, unpleasant note you get with citronella. I’ve found that by misting myself with either of these, I can reduce the mosquito bites. These two oils are pretty effective at eliminating bug attacks.
* Fill a plant mister and mist your clothes (check for stain
resistance on some fabrics). Contrary to public opinion, you don’t need to put it on your skin. Just in proximity since mosquitoes are repelled by smell. I’ll usually spray a bit in the air and then walk through it so my head/hair gets some.
* If you hang clothes on the line, put 1/4 oz in your rinse water
when you wash. If you use a dryer, the heat will flash off most of
the aroma although there will be some and, depending on how prone you are to mosquito bites, will still act as an effective mosquito repellent. #essentialoilbugspray
